A week ago today was Easter Sunday, so I headed to Neverland to place a few hearts sent from fans. Most of the hearts came from Italy with a couple from Poland, one from Sweden, Germany, Greece and Scotland, and a couple from the USA, including from me. The hearts were few but the LOVE was great
I placed the hearts on the fence and then I went on a walk in search for spring flowers.
I found a few of our beautiful state flower, the California Poppy.
Los Olivos calls me quite frequently, so it was not a surprise for me to again make my way there today. The day started out foggy along the coast but by the time I got to Los Olivos and Neverland, the sun was out and it was starting to warm up. I was happy to see that most of the Easter hearts and eggs were still up! I put up a couple of fresh roses and threw out the hearts that were weathered. The guard came out to chat and he does seem to like when I bring the hearts. He is really amazed at how far they come and asks me what countries are represented this time. :) As people came up today to the gates, the guard told them that they are welcome to stay as long as they want but they must park their cars on the side of the road and not in the driveway. That was music to my ears that he was telling people they could stay as long as they want. That means we, Michael's fans are still welcome there.
|Bye for now ;)|
